DJ DRU here... This website is geared specifically towards ONDA Vi40 Elite (V3-16GB) Tablet PC/MID owners. I want to bring you all the knowledge & know how I have aquired FROM MANY VARIOUS DIFFRENT ONLINE SOURCES for the Onda Vi40 Elite. After days, well, let me be completely honest, after MONTHS of tedious, time consuming web searching & tablet programming, I decided, "Hey, I'm just a regular guy with some knowledge of how to FIX Onda Vi40, because I have personally experienced them & it wouldn't it be nice if there was a one-stop spot to visit & get all the tools & everything needed to get your Vi40 (V3) Elite IN "PROPER RUNNING ORDER!" YES, EVEN IF YOU ARE A COMPLETE ANDROID Programming NOOB, like I was back in January 2012! It took alot of searching, trail & error, but my Vi40 is now fully up to date & in smooth running order as of June 2012 with latest firmware (ROM) V1.2 installed. There are a few tweaks I hope the company makes to their next firmware (ROM) release, but also with that, for them it's also hit & miss at times. But over all improvements to the system.

My point is, I at least want to try to connect others having the many, various problems I HAVE HAD, TO THE RIGHT INFORMATION & TOOLS needed to FIX your tablet ! So it doesn't go bricked, or you wind up using it as a paperweight, as I thought of doing a few times, after all the aggravation, sleepless nights leading into early mornings & hair pulling! LMFAO ! I laugh at it now, ONLY cuz I have successfully learned how to do all this & that's what I want for you all... To have all the information & know how I have acquired through months of LEARNING. So I will put out everything I HAVE Encountered & LEARNED FROM Myself & Countless OTHERS ONLINE, ON ONE SITE to at least try to help you out if you have had any of the same issues I had with the Vi40. On this site I will cover pretty much all known issues/problems (which I have personally encountered) with this specific device. Most issues I have encountered & there were quite a few, I also found MANY others having the same exact problems. This includes the internal memory registering at Total Space 0.00kb, which will not allow installation of ANY APPS from Play/Market, to installing/integrating the Onda drivers into Windows 7 & Windows 8 (CP & RP editions). Also creating the "Android ADB Interface" to your PC (so your PC recognizes tablet as Android ADB device), & upgrading/updating your Android device firmware (ROM). I will also cover BOTH ways of installing ClockWorkMod 5 onto the Vi40. Which have been CONFIRMED working. With an added bonus of how to do a Nandroid Backup, which essentially is a complete back up of your entire tablet -or- android phone (DATA, SETTINGS, Passwords, APPs & ALL) using ClockWorkMod !!! (Oh & the tablet or said phone DOES need to be rooted, repeat HAS TO BE ROOTED, WHICH THE Vi40 ALREADY IS, :-D !!! (Just mentioning this in case your're trying to perform a "Nandroid backup" on an android phone with CWM already installed to it (CMW=ClockWorkMod). Another heads up, I WILL NOT COVER HOW TO ROOT -OR- ANY OTHER PROGRAMMING ISSUES FOR ANY OTHER DEVICE!!!) As I stated above, this blog is for "ONDA Vi40 Elite (V3-16GB) Tablet PC/MID" owners.
